New Talent Donation Classes to Riley’s Dance
These classes are HOT Power Vinyasa classes taught by one of our very own Powerflow Yoga Teacher Training graduates! Come check out and support our newest teachers as they guide you through a vigorous Vinyasa flow. Class is donation based with all proceeds going towards Riley’s Dance. PFY Livingston & Morristown Saturdays 2-3pm PFY Clifton Saturdays 4-5pm Riley’s Dance, a program of NJ Sharing Network Foundation, was created to honor and remember the unique and special life of five year old daughter, Riley Kogen, who was lost too soon. Riley gave the gift of life to two women who received her kidneys. Her gift not only saved two people, but their entire families as well. This final act of love is what has inspired the support of organ and tissue donation and transplantation. Riley was the most gentle and kind hearted little girl that ever walked this earth. Her smile alone could light up a room. She had the most infectious laugh and brightest blue eyes you have ever seen. She lived for her friends, family, and most of all her little brother Connor. She loved to spend her afternoons playing dress up, hula hooping, and dancing. Riley died two days after her 5th birthday. We will forever celebrate her life as if she was still here. She made an impact on all that knew her and her memory will live on in all of us. In her memory, we will focus on improving the quality of life for those awaiting an organ transplant, and those who have recently received this beautiful life-saving gift. Our hope is to offer more stability to families in need at a very pressing and stressful time, so that these individuals go on to dance again just as our Riley loved to.
