Powerflow Joins Yoga Journal And Athleta For Bryant Park Yoga
Powerflow is so proud to join forces with Yoga Journal and Athleta to present free yoga classes for Bryant Park Yoga in New York City. Sneak away tomorrow morning for Alison McCue‘s 10 a.m. class on the park’s Upper Terrace (by the cafe).
Free one-hour classes are presented every Tuesday at 10 a.m. and Thursday at 6 p.m. from mid-May through September. Powerflow teachers Alison, Heather Sheridan, Jeffrey Posner and Kristen Kemp were asked to teach a few of the slots, see their full schedule below.
These are going to be lively, powerful and fun vinyasa flows for all levels. We’re psyched that PFY teachers were invited. We’re even more psyched about this series that brings hundreds of yogis together to practice outside on the lawn in the middle of New York City. Bryant Park Yoga is uplifting, spiritual and communal. People come together because they share love for this practice and the yogic way of life. The energy of these outdoor classes is something so special that you just have to experience it yourself. You can also catch PFY’s popular Yo-Tiki class on Church Street in Montclair on Thursday, June 25 at 7 p.m. This is all part of our #SummerOfPower.
Alison is very excited to teach tomorrow, and she says she’s not nervous. Instead, she is honored to be there. She will teach her signature strong flow with lots of sun salutations. So come support her tomorrow–or just get yourself to this awesome series. Share your love of yoga with your friends in the city.
